exe i get another error message saying it cannot find a folder called 'profile' within the JA folders. I saw some advice to turn off the intro movies using the INI editor that comes with the mod, but when i run that. So i tried to install the v1.13 mod as directed by the author (pbworks) but when i run the JA.exe or JAUB.exe i get an error saying i am missing the 'binkw32.dll' file. I then right click on the JA.exe to 'run as administator' and nothing happens (no error message, just wait and nothing'. Try to run JA.exe once done a clean install but first get a message saying i need to run with 'administator privileges'. With vanilla i've tried installing to a folder on my hard drive, but not in 'program files (x86)' as modders say not to do that.
However, I cannot get either vanilla or the 1.13 mod working on Windows 10. Got Jagged Alliance 2, not the Gold version, some years ago and thought I'd try this classic again.
